As a Registered Nurse in the Clinical Rehabilitation Evaluation Unit, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients. This role requires proficiency in communication, patient assessment, and therapeutic practices. Your commitment to continuing education and quality improvement will contribute significantly to patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Mental Status Exams and therapeutic communication
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals
• Provide health teaching to patients and families
• Participate in patient goal-setting and rehabilitation
• Ensure adherence to mental health legislation and best practices
Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years in psychiatric nursing
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications essential
• Class G driver's license with clear abstract
• Bilingual in English and French preferred
