Inpatient Surgery Nurse Regional Health

As a key team member, you'll engage in delivering vital post-operative care to diverse patients. Essential qualifications include expertise in IV therapy and Patient-Controlled Analgesia management. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will also support patients' nutritional needs and educate them about their health effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver essential post-operative care for surgical patients

• Manage Patient-Controlled Analgesia systems for pain management

• Support Total Parenteral Nutrition initiatives as required

• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting

• Educate patients on relevant health topics

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Up-to-date Basic Life Support certification

• Experience in surgical and medical environments

• Certification in IV therapy and glucose procedures

• Strong bilingual skills in English and French
