As part of your role, you will design and implement essential training programs while managing patient education initiatives to support specialized outpatient geriatric services.
Your role will ensure the incorporation of best practices and maintain high standards of care in mental health across the program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create educational initiatives to foster staff skill growth
• Implement effective patient education programs
• Analyze knowledge transfer trends for enhancements
• Conduct interdisciplinary outreach and assessments
• Provide mentorship and leadership support to staff
Requirements:
• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Certification in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing
• Recent experience in specialized geriatric care
• Bilingual in English and French
• Strong leadership and analytical skills
