Join a dedicated team at the Stroke Prevention Clinic and Inpatient Rehab, where your skills in medication administration and enteral feeding will shine. You'll interact directly with TIA and stroke patients, providing essential health teaching and care. A commitment to safety and collaboration is expected to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in acute and rehabilitation settings
• Administer medications and manage tracheostomy care
• Deliver health education to individuals and groups
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary health team
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to organizational policies
Requirements:
• Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers Certification
• Experience in rehabilitation and acute care
• Stroke Nursing Certification or completion within 60 days
• Bilingual English/French preferred but not mandatory
