In this role, you will apply your knowledge of psychiatric pathology while working independently and with a dynamic healthcare team. Your effective communication skills will greatly enhance the quality of patient care and interactions within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and interviews
• Administer medications while ensuring patient safety
• Facilitate psychosocial rehabilitation initiatives
• Support compliance with health acts and ethical standards
• Contribute to a culture of safety within the organization
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
• Experience specifically in Mental Health Nursing
• Basic Life Support and Medication Administration certification
• Advanced communication skills in English and French are a plus
• Familiarity with relevant health regulations required
