As part of the Regional Specialized Mental Health team, you will support adults with development disabilities and mental health needs. Your background in mental health and proven conflict resolution skills will be crucial in promoting patient choice and independence. Collaboration with multidisciplinary team members will be vital to tackle barriers affecting community living.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement recovery-oriented practices with patients
• Participate actively within a multidisciplinary health team
• Assist patients in building life skills and independence
• Record and manage patient care documentation
• Promote a culture of safety within the workplace
Requirements:
• Valid College of Nurses of Ontario registration
• Demonstrated experience in mental health practices
• Current certifications in medication administration and BLS
• Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) certification
• Advance level proficiency in English and French preferred
