Position: Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Department Role
Elevate your nursing practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department at North Bay Regional Health Centre. This position emphasizes patient management and teamwork in a high-pressure environment.

Reporting to the ED Manager, you will enhance patient care within an inter-professional team, utilizing a strong foundation in emergency medicine.

Your role will include performing detailed assessments, prescribing necessary treatments, and ensuring effective patient communication post-discharge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and care plans

• Manage ED call backs and follow-up communications

• Work alongside physicians to deliver comprehensive care

• Document patient interactions promptly and clearly

• Help develop services to fill community health gaps

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Nursing with current registration

• At least three years in a Nurse Practitioner capacity

• Five years of experience in acute nursing settings

• Skills in managing chronic diseases and antenatal care

• Bilingual candidates (English and French) preferred
