This position in the Complex Continuing Care unit is ideal for candidates with relevant certifications like Basic Life Support and the ability to work in both English and French. You'll play a vital role in managing patient care, executing medication administration, and assessing health conditions effectively while focusing on patient education and support.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and manage patient care with a health team
- Execute medication administration safely and efficiently
- Assess and monitor individual health conditions accurately
- Educate patients and families on health concerns
- Apply de-escalation skills when needed with patients
- Certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Life Support certification (within one year)
- Experience in Dementia Care settings
- Certification in Gentle Persuasive Approach and PIECES
- Bilingual in English and French
