The North Bay Regional Health Centre is seeking a knowledgeable Registered Practical Nurse for its Regional Specialized Mental Health Program. This role requires expertise in serious mental illnesses, recovery-oriented practices, and patient-centered approaches. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychiatric assessments and manage treatment plans
• Implement recovery-oriented practices tailored to patients
• Collaborate effectively within the healthcare team
• Administer medications in compliance with safety regulations
• Ensure adherence to organizational safety and health standards
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in mental health nursing required
• Certification in Medication Administration needed
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certificate required
• Bilingualism in English/French is an asset
