North Bay Regional Health Centre is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for its Oak Lodge and Nickel Lodge programs. This role demands strong psychiatric assessment skills and knowledge of recovery-oriented care models. You will develop individualized care plans while collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychiatric assessments and interviews
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on mental health management
• Document clinical observations accurately
Requirements:
• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Experience in mental health settings
• Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation
• Bilingual (advanced English/French) preferred
