Nurse Practitioner Regional Health Centre

Support mental health and addiction care as a Nurse Practitioner at North Bay Regional Health Centre. Collaborate with a skilled interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care and implement effective treatment strategies.

In this role, you will coordinate care for individuals with mental health or addiction concerns at the King Street campus. Your responsibilities will include initiating withdrawal management protocols and developing tailored care plans. As a Nurse Practitioner with extended class certification, you will provide compassionate care while working independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with healthcare team members for patient care

• Initiate withdrawal management and treatment pathways

• Develop and implement individualized care plans

• Exercise professional judgement and critical thinking

• Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Registration as an RN in the Extended Class required

• Current BLS certification within the last 12 months

• Recent clinical experience in mental health preferred

• Successful completion of controlled substance education

• Bilingualism in English and French is required
