Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse Position

Become a vital part of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at North Bay Regional Health Centre. Seeking Registered Nurses with NICU experience to provide exceptional care in a critical environment.

We are hiring a Registered Nurse with at least 2-3 years of recent NICU clinical experience. Your qualifications should include a valid College of Nurses of Ontario registration, Basic Life Support certification, and expertise in ventilators and IV management among others. A commitment to ongoing education and safety practices is essential as you join our dedicated healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exemplary patient care in NICU settings

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support services

• Offer health education to patients and families

• Demonstrate strong assessment and intervention skills

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality improvement

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• BLS certification within the last twelve months

• Minimum 2-3 years NICU experience

• Bilingual in English/French preferred

• Completion of relevant certifications and courses
