The position demands a Registered Nurse with at least 2-3 years of Medical/Surgical experience. Candidates must have recent Critical Care and Emergency experience and demonstrate proficiency in advanced nursing skills related to the Emergency Department. You will be essential in triaging patients, participating in family teaching, and ensuring a commitment to quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care in the Emergency & Critical Care Unit
• Triage and prioritize patient care effectively
• Administer Emergency Drugs and manage ventilators
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Commit to ongoing professional development and education
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2-3 years Medical/Surgical experience
• Experience in Critical Care and Emergency settings
• Bilingual in English and French preferred
