Join the Regional Specialized Mental Health Program's Clinical Rehabilitation Evaluation Unit, providing intensive care for individuals in the North East region. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in psychiatric nursing, knowledge of recovery-oriented practices, and the ability to work collaboratively within a health team to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning
• Implement psychosocial rehabilitation principles effectively
• Manage medication administration according to standards
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ensure compliance with applicable mental health regulations
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Knowledge of psychiatric assessment and health teaching
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers certified
• Proven experience in mental health nursing
• Bilingualism in English and French required
