We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a strong background in Mental Health and Addictions. You will be tasked with conducting assessments, crisis intervention, and health teaching for individuals and groups. Your expertise in recovery-based methodologies will play a critical role in improving client outcomes, and leveraging your leadership skills as a team lead is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client’s mental, physical, and psychosocial needs
• Provide crisis management and intervention strategies
• Facilitate health teaching sessions for clients
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
• Ensure quality and safety in patient care practices
Requirements:
• Current Ontario nursing registration required
• 1-2 years of experience in the domain
• Certification in psychiatric/mental health is an asset
• Strong assessment and communication abilities
• Bi-lingual candidates preferred with French proficiency
