Registered Practical Nurse

This nursing position requires a current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of dementia best practices including trauma-informed care and Gentle Persuasive Approach. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized assessment and treatment for older adults

• Collaborate with the care team for effective care planning

• Apply trauma-informed care principles in all interactions

• Maintain accurate documentation using computer applications

• Support a culture of safety and prevention in the workplace

Requirements:

• Current Certificate of Registration from Ontario’s College of Nurses

• Recent Basic Life Support certification

• Gentle Persuasive Approach Certificate

• Experience in dementia care and working with responsive behaviours

• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
