This role requires valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, along with certifications in Basic Life Support, Capillary Blood Glucose, and Medication Administration. You must have experience in dementia care and an understanding of applicable legislation. Strong communication, assessment skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care in a collaborative healthcare team
• Perform health assessments and monitor patient conditions
• Administer medications accurately and safely
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
• Engage in patient health education and support
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in dementia and medical clinical settings
• Proficient in English and French communication
• Knowledgeable in the Mental Health Act and patient rights
