As a member of the Birch & Maple Lodge team, you'll utilize your mental health experience to promote patient independence. This role emphasizes collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on recovery-oriented practices. Applicants must have current nursing registration, medication administration certification, and experience with developmental disabilities and autism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support adults with dual diagnosis in a community setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team
• Implement recovery-oriented practices to enhance patient choice
• Utilize conflict resolution skills effectively
• Ensure safety and prevention of adverse health events
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Registration from College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experienced with developmental disabilities and mental health
• Certified in Medication Administration with recent experience
• BLS for Health Care Providers certificate (recent)
• Current Gentle Persuasive Approach certificate
