In the role of Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), you will guide nursing staff through comprehensive learning experiences. This position encompasses patient education and development of training tools tailored to geriatric patient needs. Your leadership will enhance team capabilities in interdisciplinary outreach to improve mental health assessments and care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design training programs for staff in specialized geriatric care
• Facilitate patient education and support resources
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments
• Lead change initiatives within geriatric services
• Document learning outcomes and trends for quality improvement
Requirements:
• Valid Nursing Certificate from College of Nurses of Ontario
• Certification in Psychiatric and Mental Health nursing
• Recent clinical experience in a geriatric health setting
• Strong interpersonal communication skills needed
• Must possess a driver's license and be willing to travel
