Registered Practical Nurse Health

Elevate patient care as a Registered Practical Nurse within the Inpatient Rehab/Integrated Stroke Unit at North Bay Regional Health Centre. This role requires clinical expertise in acute care and rehab, with a focus on stroke care.

North Bay Regional Health Centre is seeking a qualified Registered Practical Nurse. Candidates must possess a current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario, along with Basic Life Support certification. Experience in acute care settings, particularly with TIA/Stroke patients, is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to acute and rehabilitation patients

• Administer medications and perform wound care procedures

• Deliver health education effectively to patients and their families

• Collaborate with medical and health professionals for optimal patient outcomes

• Support a culture of safety across all patient interactions

Requirements:

• Current certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Experience with enteral feeding, tracheostomy, and stroke certification

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Bilingual in English and French is a strong asset
