Birch & Maple Lodge, part of North Bay Regional Health Centre, specializes in supporting adults with dual diagnosis. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will engage in assessment and intervention for patients dealing with developmental disabilities and mental health issues.

Your role requires collaborative work with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and structured community living support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care in a dual diagnosis setting

• Collaborate with health team members to optimize patient independence

• Administer medications and follow Recovery Oriented Practices

• Communicate effectively with patients and families

• Participate in conflict resolution and safety initiatives

Requirements:

• Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario

• Relevant mental health experience required

• Certified in Medication Administration and BLS

• Knowledge of dual diagnosis practices

• Bilingualism in English and French preferred
