Canadore College Nurse Clinician Role

Be a key player in nursing education as a Degree Nurse Clinician at Canadore College. In this 9-month, in-person position, you’ll provide crucial training and supervision in nursing practices.

This role is based at the North Bay campus, requiring strong nursing credentials, including a Bachelor’s degree and RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Candidates must possess at least eight years of nursing experience, including five years in acute care, and strong communication and leadership abilities to facilitate student learning and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diverse clinical learning experiences to students

• Select appropriate clients for student engagements

• Monitor and supervise student-administered care

• Uphold educational standards and policies

• Evaluate student performance and support faculty assessments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing;
Master’s preferred

• Current RN registration with CNO

• Minimum eight years practice experience

• Excellent leadership and organizational skills

• Reliable transportation to North Bay
