In the Critical Care Unit, you'll provide specialized nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric. The team includes various professionals, and you will be expected to collaborate closely while demonstrating excellent critical thinking and intervention skills. Your main responsibility will be to monitor patients and respond promptly to changes in their condition.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Conduct assessments and implement interventions
• Educate patients and families on health management
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols
Requirements:
• Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
• Minimum 2 years Medical/Surgical experience
• 1-2 years of Critical Care nursing experience
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
• Bilingualism in English and French is required
