We are looking for a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to support our Dementia Care initiatives. You must be certified with the College of Nurses of Ontario and have current certifications in BLS and Capillary Blood Glucose. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, medication administration, and a thorough understanding of the Mental Health Act.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care in a collaborative environment
• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments
• Administer medications with precise knowledge
• Facilitate health teaching for individuals and groups
• Support patient-oriented recovery practices
Requirements:
• Certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in Dementia Care, catheterization, and IV maintenance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• GPA and PIECES certifications required
• Must be available for scheduled shifts with good attendance
