Clinical Nurse Educator at Canadore College

Play an integral role in nursing education as a Degree Nurse Clinician at Canadore College. This nine-month position focuses on delivering high-quality learning experiences in acute care settings.

Based at the College Drive Campus in North Bay, Ontario, candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and possess current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. With a minimum of eight years of experience, including five years in an acute care setting, candidates should also demonstrate excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate practical learning experiences for nursing students

• Choose suitable client assignments for students

• Oversee and assess student-delivered care

• Ensure compliance with educational guidelines and standards

• Collaborate with other clinician educators to optimize learning

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing;
Master’s degree preferred

• Valid RN registration in good standing

• At least eight years of clinical experience

• Strong communication and computer skills

• Must commute reliably to the North Bay site
