We invite applications for the Registered Practical Nurse role to enhance our care teams within the Dementia and Complex Continuing Care departments. This role requires a valid nursing registration and various certifications, including Basic Life Support and experience in medication administration. Strong skills in assessment and communication will be essential to support our patient-centered approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care in complex and dementia settings
• Conduct thorough physical assessments for patients
• Administer medications safely and accurately
• Collaborate effectively within healthcare teams
• Provide educational support to patients and families
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Life Support (HCP) certification required
• Clinical experience in dementia care essential
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Availability for scheduled shifts, bilingualism is a plus
