As a nurse in the Critical Care Unit, you will manage a low nurse-to-patient ratio, allowing for close monitoring and immediate intervention. You will be part of a highly skilled team that includes Anaesthetists and Surgeons, playing a critical role in patient outcomes. Your commitment to continuous education and quality improvement will be crucial in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor critically ill patients continuously
• Collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals
• Administer emergency drugs and manage ventilators
• Provide health education to patients and families
• Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Active Certificate of Registration from Ontario
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• At least 2-3 years in Medical/Surgical nursing
• 1-2 years of Critical Care experience
• Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
