Applicants must have a current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and a recent BLS certification.
Experience with individuals facing serious mental illnesses and conflict resolution skills are highly valued. Strong communication abilities will play a crucial role in ensuring patient-centered care while complying with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care tailored to mental health patients
• Assist in all required code situations effectively
• Provide health education to patients when needed
• Work collaboratively within the healthcare team
• Uphold safety standards for staff and visitors
Requirements:
• Active Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses
• Current BLS for Health Care Providers certification
• Proven experience in mental health nursing
• Valid Class “G” driver’s licence required
• Excellent attendance and work record necessary
