Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse

Become a Registered Practical Nurse within the Inpatient Rehab/Integrated Stroke Unit at North Bay Regional Health Centre. This challenging role centers on acute care nursing and stroke rehabilitation.

North Bay Regional Health Centre is looking for a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse. Applicants should hold a Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario and a BLS certification. Experience caring for stroke patients is highly valuable, alongside demonstrated skills in medication administration and patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to acute and rehabilitation patients

• Perform medication administration and wound care as needed

• Provide patient education and health teaching sessions

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary health teams

• Champion safety and quality assurance in patient care

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Experience in acute care and stroke patient support

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Bilingualism in English and French is preferred
