Psychiatric Nursing Educator Position

North Bay Regional Health Centre seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator for the Mental Health & the Law department. In this impactful role, you will leverage your MScN qualification and extensive experience in psychiatric nursing to educate peers and enhance care practices for individuals with severe mental illnesses. Strong leadership and educational skills will ensure effective training delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop educational curricula for psychiatric recovery

• Implement and assess training initiatives for effectiveness

• Engage with community partners and healthcare teams

• Advocate for recovery-oriented mental health practices

• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least five years of psychiatric nursing experience

• Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Nursing required

• Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation

• Exceptional interpersonal and decision-making skills required
