NSWOC Nurse for Community Care

As part of Para Med's nursing team, you will engage in patient-centered care focusing on wound assessments and ostomy management. You will educate both patients and nursing staff while ensuring compliance with established clinical best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct care for wound, ostomy, and continence needs
• Conduct training for nursing staff and patient education
• Provide consultation and support for clinical processes
• Lead initiatives in wound and ostomy clinical leadership
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Certification as NSWOC required
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• Experience in community settings is favorable
• Membership with Wound Ostomy Canadians a plus
• Commitment to quality care and patient engagement
