You will engage with individuals over and under 65 years, delivering targeted interventions and support in a collaborative team setting. Your clinical expertise and excellent communication skills are essential in promoting health education and successful patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and support seniors with mental health disorders
• Implement and monitor medication administration guidelines
• Educate patients and caregivers on health management
• Utilize effective interpersonal skills in a healthcare team
• Perform capillary blood glucose checks as required
Requirements:
• Nursing Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• In-depth experience in an acute care environment
• Certificates in BLS and Gentle Persuasive Approach
• Bilingual candidates preferred for effective communication
• Comply with safety standards in patient care delivery
