You’ll work in a supportive 40-bed unit focusing on patients ready for rehabilitation or long-term care transition.
Your role includes implementing health teachings, ensuring patient safety, and working with a professional health team. Critical thinking and a commitment to patient-centered approaches are essential for successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care tailored to individual patient needs
• Work collaboratively with an interprofessional team
• Deliver educational support for patients and families
• Uphold safety standards while attending to physical care
• Foster engaging patient activities for accelerated recovery
Requirements:
• Valid Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in medical clinical settings required
• Bilingual in English and French, preferred
• Knowledge of de-escalation and patient engagement techniques
Support patient healing and development with a dedicated team at the Alternate Health Facility.
