This role requires current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and at least one year of recent experience in hemodialysis and chronic kidney disease. You will work alongside nephrologists and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality renal replacement therapy. Your expertise will play a critical role in handling complex patient scenarios and promoting health education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide hemodialysis treatments for up to sixteen patients
• Collaborate with nephrologists and healthcare team members
• Deliver health teaching to patients and families
• Maintain patient safety and quality care standards
• Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Current BLS for Health Care Providers certificate
• 1-2 years recent hemodialysis experience
• 2-3 years experience in medical/surgical settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bilingual in English and French preferred
