As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a critical role in managing patient care for seniors, utilizing skills in dementia care and excellent assessment techniques. North Bay Regional Health Centre values commitment to safety, effective communication, and the ability to work independently. Your nursing duties will include both direct patient care and collaborative efforts to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care based on medical assessments
• Collaborate seamlessly with healthcare providers
• Administer prescribed medications and manage treatment plans
• Implement health education with patients and caregivers
• Ensure compliance with health-related legislation
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Nursing Registration certificate
• Up-to-date BLS certification required
• Prior experience in Dementia Care and clinical settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bilingual in English and French preferred
