North Bay Regional Health Centre seeks a Registered Nurse Educator knowledgeable in concurrent disorders and withdrawal management. Your expertise in both clinical practice and educational content development is vital for this role. A strong background in psychiatric nursing, along with the ability to assess, teach, and implement recovery-oriented strategies, is key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and evaluate educational materials for nursing teams
• Provide psychiatric assessments and interventions
• Train staff on recovery-oriented practices and principles
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for effective treatment
• Conduct crisis intervention and de-escalation training
Requirements:
• BScN and Master’s in Nursing are mandatory
• 5+ years of relevant psychiatric nursing experience
• Certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario required
• Current BLS and GPA certifications
• Strong communication and organizational prowess
