As an Inpatient Practical Nurse, you will work in Pods C and D of our hospital, providing crucial care for patients admitted from the Emergency Department or those transferred from critical care.
Your role requires a valid College of Nurses of Ontario registration and experience in medication administration, as well as CADD Pump training. You will also interact with medical patients who may require specialized attention, highlighting your nursing skills effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care and monitoring in acute settings
• Administer medications and oversee intravenous therapy
• Conduct health teaching for patients and families
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Support wound and palliative care needs
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BLS for Health Care Providers within the last 12 months
• Experience in acute care environments
• Certification in Medication Administration
• Bilingual English/French skills preferred
