This role delivers essential mental health services through virtual channels while adhering to the Standards of Practice for Extended Class set by the College of Nurses of Ontario. You’ll work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams at both locations, offering your expertise in mental health assessments and treatment plans while utilizing telepractice guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct virtual assessments and consultations for mental health patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across health campuses
• Implement effective care plans based on patient needs
• Maintain documentation standards for telepractice and patient consent
• Utilize approved platforms for patient communication and care delivery
Requirements:
• Current RN (EC) registration with CNO and specialty certificate
• Basic Life Support certification within the last 12 months
• Recent clinical experience in mental health or addictions
• Competence in safe prescribing and education on controlled substances
• Bilingualism in English and French required
