In the role of Summer Student
-Meter Shop Quality Assurance

, you will assist the team with general maintenance and office support duties.

It’s an excellent job for people who are hands-on and enjoy working with software programs at the same time.

Placement Details:

This is a 4-month opportunity starting in May 2026, located in North Bay, ON.

What you will do:
  • Assist QA in the performance of inspections as required:
  • Supporting the QA team during inspection processes.
  • Helping to ensure that products or services meet specified standards and requirements.
  • Possibly involves preparing inspection reports or documenting findings.
  • Assist QA in the performance of measurement equipment maintenance:
  • Helping to maintain and calibrate measurement tools and equipment used in quality inspections.
  • Ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly and is up-to-date with maintenance schedules.
  • May involve coordinating with vendors or technical teams for equipment servicing.
  • Assist with the writing of QA and Operations procedures:
  • Contributing to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to quality assurance and operational processes.
  • Ensuring that procedures are clear, comprehensive, and adhere to industry standards or regulations.
  • Collaborating with other departments to integrate their needs and feedback into the procedures.
Who you are:
  • You are currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program (Engineering, Engineering Technologies preferred) and will be returning to full-time school immediately following the work term.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion).
Working Conditions:
  • Shop-based role, located in North Bay, ON.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.
