As Bakery Manager, you’ll lead METRO’s bakery department, directing staff activities and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Your expertise in product management and customer service will be essential in achieving sales goals and fostering a productive team environment. This role calls for strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to departmental budget and strategic plans
• Direct staff hiring, training, and performance management
• Maintain accurate inventory and ordering procedures
• Oversee daily operations and ensure readiness for business
• Enforce company and regulatory policies regarding safety and sanitation
Requirements:
• Community college graduate or equivalent
• At least 3 years of management experience in the bakery field
• Customer service-driven and highly organized
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Ability to lift 65 lbs and work variable shifts
