Healthcare Security Guard

Protect patients, staff, visitors, and property as a Security Guard with North Bay Regional Health Centre in its hospital community. Use observation, emergency response, and communication skills.
The Protective Services Security Guard supports NBRHC through a visible uniformed presence and Detect-Deter-Observe-Report practices. You will respond to hospital emergencies, monitor facilities, and collaborate with frontline staff and partners. The position also requires evidence handling, policy enforcement, and community ambassador service.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to security requests, emergency codes, and medical emergencies
Perform environmental patrols and alarm response
Monitor facilities using video management and access control systems
Gather evidence and secure evidence or contraband
Drive NBRHC fleet vehicles as required
Requirements:
Ontario Security Guard Licence under PSISA
Two years recent healthcare security experience
Law, security, police foundations, corrections, or protection diploma
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Valid G licence and clear driver’s abstract
