Lush Nail Lounge is Northborough's premier nail salon, specializing in Nails, Lashes, Microblading, Microshading, and Waxing. To better serve our expanding customer base, we are looking for additional full-time nail technicians (we currently have 11 techs and are looking to add 2 more). We are a salon that has received 4.9/5 stars out of a total of 1000+ reviews across all review sites (Google, Vagaro, Yelp, Facebook).

We have a loyal clientele and wonderful customers, we're always busy, we have customers on the waiting list, we have fun, enjoy what we do, and most importantly, we take care of our team. You'll collaborate with techs with a few years of experience in the field up to senior techs with 15+ years of experience.

• This role is a full-time position. As a normal schedule, you must be able to work at least 5 days at business hours. You may choose the 5 days you can work. This is a strict requirement, please do not apply if you cannot meet the 5 full day working requirement upon starting.
• Must have current Manicurist / Nail License ready, and ready to start within the next 2-3 weeks once hired as this is for an immediate hire opportunity.
• Candidates that can work Saturdays will be prioritized.

• Paint fingernails and toenails
• Clean, cut and shape nails
• Recommend colors, rhinestones and designs based on each customer's style
• Remove previously applied polish
• Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments
• Sterilize equipment before use
• Inform clients about additional services and offers (e.g. loyalty discounts, eyebrow waxing)
• Give hand and foot massages
• Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer)
• Offer recommendations for treatments and beauty products, when appropriate
• Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences)

• Proven work experience as a Nail Technician, Manicurist or similar role
• Expertise in basic nail techniques, including French manicures, pedicures and gel manicures
• Expertise in advanced nail techniques, including Dip Powder, Acrylic, Liquid Gel is a plus
• Knowledge of cosmetology trends
• Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards
• Experience in customer service
• Certification in Cosmetology/Aesthetics or Nail Art is a plus
• Positive energy and charismatic individual that loves their job and excited to join our growing Salon and Lush Team!
• Works well with others and have teamwork skills
• Knowledge on online booking and basic social media advertising is a plus!

Your commission would be $800 - $1,500+ per week for full time techs. If you can perform all types of nail services, build clientele, you'll be hovering around $1,500+ or more plus tips frequently. The sky is the limit and our salon is built just for that.

• Candidates with resume (with relevant nail experience) will be prioritized at the top. It would be great for us to see where you worked and what you did there. References are a huge plus.
• Candidates with photos of their work, social media or a portfolio page that displays their work will also be prioritized.
• We prefer experienced nail techs (3+ years at a salon, suite or home based with clientele). However, if you just graduated from nail school and have your manicurist license, a cover letter describing your background and experience related to this job, along with why you would be a great fit for our salon, is highly desired.
