Position Summary

U.S. Auto Force, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

The schedule for this position is Sunday-Thursday 11:45pm-8:30am. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.

Job Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment
  • Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift and occasionally up to 80 pounds; team lifts or mechanical equipment may be used for commercial tires
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
  • Work at heights up to 25 feet safely while operating equipment
  • Be on the move and able to work on your feet for extended periods; may require overtime
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, adhering to all safety policies and operating procedures
  • May assist other departments, such as ecomm, inventory, and will call, depending on business needs

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical demands:
The employee must be able to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequent lifting of products weighing up to ~50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 80 pounds. Pushing forces up to 40 pounds. Handling of commercial tires may involve rolling, destacking, and team lifting with equipment assistance.

Protective equipment: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL. All equipment is provided by U.S. Auto Force except for steel/composite toe boots. Adherence to safety and manufacturer guidelines for protective equipment is required.

Work environment:
Exposure to weather conditions as applicable; usually moderate noise. Occasional exposure to fumes from tires and car parts or lubricants.

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment
  • 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards
  • Abide by all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines
  • Ability to pass forklift certification
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
