Job Description

  • Will implement student goals and behavior management procedures according to student IEP
  • Will collaborate with pertinent staff to develop Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Will record behavior data, and other data as specified in the Behavior Intervention Plan and IEP.
  • Will provide a safe learning environment for all students using positive behavioral interventions.
  • Will implement specific strategies, behavior interventions and social skills groups as identified through special education teacher.
  • Will assist with instruction as outlined by teaching staff
  • Will work collaboratively with adjustment counselor and teachers to provide an environment conducive to improving student performance.
  • Will attend training including but not limited to Nonviolent Physical Intervention and department meetings as needed.
  • Will conduct training for staff on an as needed basis

Position Type: Full‑time

Salary: up to $23 per hour

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience in therapeutic programs or working with students with emotional disabilities.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
