Teacher Active is proud to be working with a small, Outstanding OFSTED rated nursery in York to recruit a Nursery Assistant. This welcoming setting has a supportive and friendly team, a large outdoor garden with an exciting Forest School area, and provides children with a nurturing environment where they can learn, explore and grow.

The nursery is looking to appoint a part-time, permanent Nursery Assistant to support children throughout the early years setting. The successful Nursery Assistant will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and learning experiences while promoting children's development, with the opportunity to complete a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

Experience working within an Early Years setting
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to learn and develop professionally
