Teacher Active is proud to be working with a small independent nursery based in York. The nursery offers a welcoming environment with a supportive and hardworking team who are committed to providing children with positive Early Years experiences.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a part-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will be based within the preschool room, supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing while helping to provide a safe and engaging environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable
Experience working with children in an Early Years or nursery setting
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
A caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children
The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
A reliable and hardworking attitude
