Assistant Director of Young Alumni Engagement & Giving
Base Pay Range: $47,000 - $50,000.
Essential Duties- Develop and execute innovative initiatives to cultivate a culture of philanthropy among students and young alumni (0 to 5.5 years since graduation).
- Design and implement personalized communication strategies for previous year donors, including phone, mail, email, text, and video.
- Coordinate strategic young alumni event programming on‑campus and off‑campus and collaborate with campus partners on event representation and needs.
- Attend and participate in Alumni Awards, Homecoming, Family Weekend, Commencement Weekend Events, and Reunion Weekend as assigned.
- Partner with St. Olaf Fund staff and Alumni and Parent Relations staff to develop and execute educational presentations for students to understand alumni philanthropy and engagement.
- Partner with the Office of Student Activities to develop and execute alumni transition engagement points with current seniors.
- Develop and implement a 5th‑Year Class Reunion plan that achieves fundraising and engagement goals in partnership with Alumni and Parent Relations.
- Assist in identifying, recruiting, training, and supervising a group of volunteers from the 5th‑Year Class and work with alumni volunteers to plan communications, programming, and activities leading up to and during Reunion weekend.
- Support, respect, and commit to building a strong and inclusive community by embracing diverse backgrounds, values, and points of view.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. - Experience:
3 years in fundraising, account management, marketing, or a relevant field.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Public Relations, or Communications. - Experience:
3 years in fundraising, account management, marketing, or admissions.
