. This 37.5‑hour week, 52‑week, 0.938 FTE position supports a wide range of complex, detail‑oriented functions within the Registrar Office.
- Maintains accuracy of student records and ensures compliance with FERPA.
- Provides clear guidance on Registrar processes, policies, and resources to stakeholders.
- Processes and verifies student enrollment and degree verifications.
- Triages and responds to general inquiries via email, phone, and in‑person.
- Prioritizes tasks effectively during peak periods and maintains accuracy under pressure.
- Identifies and corrects data inaccuracies, escalates issues, and implements corrective actions.
- Tracks, troubleshoots, and resolves transcript and diploma order issues.
- Coordinates intake and distribution of physical mail for the office.
- Maintains and monitors the University Registrar’s email account.
- Provides backup support to the Associate Registrar as needed.
- Serves as liaison between Registrar Office, academic departments, and campus partners.
- Participates in occasional weekend events such as Commencement.
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree or relevant working experience.
- 2 years of professional work experience in student records or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced setting providing excellent customer service in higher education.
- Experience using databases (e.g., Banner, Dynamic Forms, Record Management, Degree Works).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to learn new systems and technological tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and present findings; self‑initiate solutions.
- Ability to analyze operational and procedural problems and develop, recommend, and evaluate proposed solutions.
- Ability to handle sensitive interpersonal situations and confidential data.
- Work occasional evening or weekend hours.
- Indoor work at a computer workstation.
- Low level of exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vibrations, and temperature changes.
