Position Summary
There is a research opportunity in the laboratory of Tom Foutz, MD, PhD. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our research team as part of the WashU Scalable Mouse Assay Center (WU-SMAC) consortium. This position focuses on characterizing epileptic activity across mouse models of neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions. Our laboratory evaluates how genetic mutations affect seizure susceptibility and epileptic phenotypes, exploring the intersection between epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disorders.
This is a temporary position of up to four months.

Working ConditionsThis position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary RangeBase pay is commensurate with experience.
