JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior Accountant
About the Opportunity:
A global leader of fluids engineering in automotive and industrial markets is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its manufacturing and distribution entities in the US.
This role offers exposure to full cycle accounting, cost accounting, inventory management, and operational analysis and is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to strategic financial initiatives.
This is a hybrid position at our Northglenn, CO location.
Responsibilities:
- Cash Management & Banking:
Oversee daily cash activity, manage bank reconciliations, and ensure accurate recording of ecommerce and brick & mortar channels. - Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight:
Review and approve vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and support AR collections and reconciliation processes. - Perform inventory reconciliations, cost accounting, and variance analysis.
- Month-End & Year-End Close:
Prepare and review journal entries, perform complex account reconciliations, and support financial statement preparation. - Compliance & Regulatory Reporting:
Manage sales tax filings, 1099s, business licenses, and other regulatory requirements to ensure full compliance. - Process Improvement & Leadership:
Identify and implement process improvements, mentor junior accounting staff, and contribute to cross-functional financial initiatives. - Other Duties:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience. Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
- Manufacturing and cost accounting and/or e-commerce and omni channel experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Technical aptitude and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
The expected compensation for this position is an annual salary of $75,000-$85,000 plus bonus potential, depending on experience and qualifications.
